What is so surprising about this statement? What, ya'll expect a heated QB battle heading into a bowl game? This is only newsworthy if it comes during spring practice.

Well this is just terrible. What he needs to say is:
"I'm a crappy QB because the idiots on the Rant say so. I need to just go back home and open a Subway store and leave LSU. The rantards know so much more than I do that I need to just disappear into the mists and never come back so they can be happy.".

Why is anyone surprised by this? Les has exactly what he wants - the 114th ranked passing offense.

In "The Advocate" sports section Jennings is quoted saying "
"I don't feel like I'm in competition at all. I'm getting all the reps with the 1st team."

is this miles' fault? after every game miles spouts off of how great Jennings played when his stats are 9-21 105 yards 1 pick. Jennings has the mindset just like Jefferson did, I am the starter, therefore I don't have to improve, because im not getting pulled

Jennings has been saying all along in every interview that he has the starting job. It is his alone. It is his team. There is no hope for Brandon. Miles lies and covers them with inept responses.

Its clearly on CLM that LSU is headed into next year with questions at the QB position. This season was a wash in terms of championships anyway and he chose to go after 9-10 wins this year rather than taking a few Ls to get Harris ready for a real run next year.
Thats called coaching to keep your job rather than coaching for championships. And the AD has pretty much said that its the stated goal.
I can say this because we have seen this play out before from Les regarding the QBs. Next year will be more of the same.
