Well...the Indian Bayou trip was a bust...got to the landing at 5am and "smelled" something while putting gear in boat...the Vortex 100K mile hub had failed...damaged the spindle as well...less than 2k miles on that trailer and its been maintained...probably be tomorrow before I can get the parts...

I had always kept a spare set in my truck rapped in plastic and bearing packed. Saved me a couple times and other people too.

glad it didn't fail on the interstate...

Spent 10 hours in the rain changing a complete axle that broke in half. After that trip, that trailer was converted over to a triaxle. Bad thing was that there was no way of moving that boat and trailer due to size and height.

Nothing this afternoon so far.

How much of an impact does a hog using an area have on deer coming to the same area? I've had one in my setup the last two mornings and have had him on camera more in the last week than I've had since I put the camera up. And I haven't had as many deer on camera the last week.

Coincidence, or is he messing things up?

Pigs and deer don't mix well at all. When they roll in the deer usually scatter

yea fish...the hub working off messed up the spindle...I'll see if Mike Gerald's has the parts tomorrow...that hub is supposed to be a 100k mile hub with you not touching it for 5 years...

yea right...hey...things could be worse...I know I'm blessed even though I don't have much...

This. I'm only seeing a 1/3rd of the deer I normally see.
