What does that even mean? You're laughing at accusations that the government has unjustly imprisoned people?

It means don't start a post on this board linking a lunatic source. Look over the site that is linked and get back to me with regards to whether it is viable.

It's an old story, plus it was just a cop saying they did it. No actual proof.

Here's two other links:

NY Daily News

HuffPo

Then, the NY Post covered it when the guy's partner was found 'not guilty' of framing people.

We are all good.

Didn't doubt the veracity of the story, just questioned the link. Bad choice when others were available.

These folks don't accept facts that don't fit their narrative, you know that.

The city paid $300,000 to settle a false arrest suit by Jose Colon and his brother Maximo, who were falsely arrested by Anderson and Tavarez. A surveillance tape inside the bar showed they had been framed.

A federal judge presiding over the suit said the NYPD's plagued by "widespread falsification" by arresting officers.

Now these are real abuses that protesters could take up and receive wide support from conservatives like me.

I trust that these 'officers' were fired and prosecuted in addition to the legal judgements against the police department.

Root out bad cops with ruthlessness. Planting evidence should be treated as a felony drawing serious prison time.

But don't paint all cops as racists for every instance of a black criminal being arrested.
