You have never thanked me!

How hot was Andie MacDowell in that movie?

Groundhog Day never gets old. What an unlikely pair in Murray and MacDowell, but they are fantastic together.

So what's the final verdict on how long he is stuck? Is it a few decades? Didn't Ramis come out and say it could've been longer?

Long enough to become an expert ice sculptor, pianist, etc. As well as a long time of just not giving a shite, trying suicide, etc.

It was at one point 10,000 years or something like that but they thought that was too depressing so they reduced it. The movie was also darker with him doing some twisted stuff (murder, rape) but they cut that out too.

Good concept for a movie. Only thing that sucks is that learned everything he did to impress a woman. A woman who didn't know who he was or what he was going through. The viewers understood him more than andie McDowell's character.

Per imdb...

quote:

On the DVD, Harold Ramis states that the original idea was for him to live February 2nd for about 10,000 years. Later he says that Phil probably lived the same day for about 10 years.

quote:

Danny Rubin and Harold Ramis both said that they avoided exploring the truly dark side of Phil's time lapsing in which he could do truly horrible things without consequence (i.e. murder, torture, etc.).
