I'm hunting private land next to kisatchie national forest. There was an 8 pt on the edge of my shooting lane but I didn't have a shot. He was just looking up and down the trail. As he goes to step out, some yahoos let out a 10-15 round burst from their semi automatic weapon. Deer spooks and runs off. The shooter and his buddy proceeded to shoot at least 300 rounds for the next 2 hours nonstop. I understand it's public land and he isn't breaking the law, but what an a-hole. Go to a range if you want to play, let the men hunt. /endrant

Don't hunt land next to public land or move as far as possible away from the line.

I'm 300 yds from the line. I would move but this is our most productive blind.

Get off of public land or quit bitching.

I'm on private land, this guy was just on the other side of the property line. Not trying to bitch, it's just frustrating. First shooter buck I've seen in the last 5 years out here

Public land like WMA? If so, you can not target shoot just anywhere.
