He is a POS, but that's what you get from a small town clown.

Really not going to sweat it reality is - we really didn't want to be in Nashville either and if our HC would learn how to develop a QB we wouldn't have!!!

Joke or not frick YOU McMurtry I can promise you we will not be back to your shitty little bowl and town next year! Tiger faithful will be spending their money at a real bowl game!!!

Thanks for the email you sent Scott and WSMV. Our communications team is working on a public response right now while I’m reaching out to some of our local media partners to try to ensure traveling fans feel welcome as this is a very important event for our city and we hope out-of-town visitors stay as long as possible. It’s apparent the message was meant as a joke, but has obviously not gone over well.

The whole Music City bowl's a joke.

No bowl game is a joke and should never be treated as such. A bowl invite allows the team additional practice time, garners the program additional national exposure, provides the coaches and players with the opportunity to jump start the 2015 season with a victory. Every coach whose team missed postseason would gladly play in the Music City Bowl given the opportunity.

We don't need to be welcomed to Nashville. We will conquer the town and take it over. No one will know ND is even there.

TV "journalism" is a sad shadow of what it's meant to be.

What a bag of dicks...she's high spirited? She probably wouldn't fetch him a sammich...

As to the negative LSU comments, he's a half rate reporter in a wanna be city.

Someone needs to hit him with a piss ballon

McMurtry is a graduate of prestigious Texas State University in San Marcus...he did not Graduate from Notre Dame.

FWIW, Butch Spyridon is the head of the Convention Bureau in Nashville which puts on the Bowl is an LSU graduate.

LSU will be a big time home team favorite in this game being supported by its fans and those of TN.

No wadded underwear here.

My comments as to a bag of dicks was on the domestic assault article.

His Joke was in poor taste but what should one expect from a Nashville TV "talent"

He might even move up and get a gig in Branson!!!

Seems like SDS with their typical bullshite. They cut off the part IMMEDIATELY after when he said he was joking, and had LSU as the winner.

Reminded me of the guy coming on here trying to argue that Meyer and Cam's offense is similar. Also that a weak shoulder and injury prone Miller should come here, automatically learn Cam's system in a couple of months, and start against SEC defenses.
