The NC are 2 and 3, and the Cannon run 4. That Morris Home Run will always be #1 to me. I had just finished my Junior year at LSU and stayed in BR to work over the Summer.

I was at my girlfriend (now wife's) apartment watching the game because she was sick with the flu, and I was being a good guy and taking care of her. As bad as she felt, though, she was right there with me yelling at the tv at the end of the game.

I just remember the entire town seemed to spontaneously combust afterward. People were coming out of their apartments yelling and screaming. Cars were honking in the street. It was pretty amazing. Baseball lends itself to drama because of the pacing, but you can't get much more dramatic than that.

March 8, 1969 - The height of showtime. The legendary double-overtime win in a jam-packed (10,500) gymnasium in Athens. Pete scored 58 points but none more dramatic than his final attempt. After avoiding Bulldog defenders with a Globtrotter-esque dribbling exhibition - the Pistol flipped up an audacious 35-foot hook shot that swished through as time expired. He was then swamped by ecstatic Georgia fans and cheerleaders. Final 90-80.

As LSU took control of the double overtime game
Maravich dribbled out the clock by himself. Then
Pete threw up a 35 foot hook as he went out of bounds at half court, landed on the bench and threw a towel over his head, his college career was over. The crowd went crazy. Maravich called it his finest moment.

Top three, in my opinion.

Warren Morris single-handedly (pun intended) propelled the hamate bone into national recognition. Nobody knew what or where the frick a hamate bone was before his game winner Now everyone drops hamate bone like their orthopedic surgeons.

think it was '77, LSU v. UK in basketball, they were undefeated and #1, we were up and coming, beat them in double OT with all starters fouled out, that place was wild, it was kind of the beginning of the Dale Brown era

Personal one for me, sophomore year so '95/96 and Kentucky was killing us in basketball. Near the end of the game with hem up 30 or so what was left of the petemac started to chant LSU.

The UK players were just stunned. Dale grabbed the PA at the end of the game and thanked the crowd.

Not growing up in Louisiana this made me a die hard LSU fan

Also morris. That was epic

Are you kidding me?

Warren Morris' game winning homerun in the College Baseball World Series Championship Game. He hit a two-out, 3-2 pitch that barely made it over the right field wall. Now that was some 'Drama' for your 'A@@!'

This is one highlight that has been replayed annually and former Coach Skip Bergman defeated the team that he was an Assistant Coach for several years. Let's not forget, LSU lost to Miami in the playoff previously, so this was a bittersweet victory for the Tigers!

It was not a 3-2 pitch. It was the first pitch of the AB. Tim Lanier had just struck out on a 3-2 pitch

I wasnt an LSU fan until I officially enrolled in 2010, but my best moment was the jeremy hill td run against SC. Best game was ole miss this year. Tiger stadium was soo electric both times. And of course any time we hear pregame.

No, Warren Morris's shot is not LSU's #1 sports moment because baseball is too inconsequential.

I don't think this board understands how minor is college baseball.
