Yeah yeah.. Bah hum bug, get off my lawn..all that crap. I get 99% of the OT is happy to see it go but I genuinely love this time of year and all it brings with lights and decorations everywhere you go and even the music (in moderation).. Just kinda look forward to it all year especially starting around September/October and just like that it's gone.

Nah, the same way. Not really depressed but it's a definite drop off in the mood.

I'm only a youngster in college but I'm starting to realize more and more how quickly time flies. Seems like last New Years was just yesterday. Really kind of sobering

it definetly is a kind of a letdown when all of the visiting and seeing your loved ones is over and everyone heads back home to their own lives...

During christmas I always think about loved ones that are now gone...when christmas is over, my thoughts shift to hoping that everyone is still around for next year's holiday...

I'm with you. I enjoy everything about Christmas. The family, lights, celebration, and time. I always get a little down when it's over. It's over in a snap after all the build up and preparations.

No, my entire family is like this, so we always extend the holidays & are together the week after Christmas as well. Usually, we plan a little get away or some other activity. Bowl games are always a big deal, so that helps. Also, we keep our decorations up through New Year's.

Keep that in mind with every decision you make. It goes by so fast. The older you get, it seems the faster it goes.

Think I'm gonna hold off a week or so on taking the tree down. Maybe the blues will be gone by then

That's what I've always been told. Really scares the shite out of me. More than ever I try to keep myself from wishing my life away
