Hasn't happened yet, but this is the fist year I've been on the OT on Christmas Eve, so...

I love Christmas. Whether I'm with friends and family or by myself, I absolutely love this time of year.

Because you're not a kid anymore. Now that you have a child it should be about them

You are a selfish scumbag for being cynical about it and not letting your child enjoy it the way you did.

Just had a conversation about this not 5 minutes ago. For me, it's about the kids and them being excited aboutique presents and lights etc etc...

We don't do church, so yeah...

My kids have made me love Christmas more than when I was a kid.

However, the Christmas I spent in Afghanistan with my Army brothers remains a special memory as well.

Christmas is extremely materialistic. Truth be told, if I didn't receive one gift I would not care.

I am content just spending time with family on Christmas eve and Christmas day. It's really the only thing that matters in my short time here on this earth.

We don't do adult gifts, they are for the kids. Too much stress buying stuff for people who can easily buy what they want anyway.
