Weve waited 45 years to get a QB of Brees quality and may wait another 45 before we have one again. And for all my friends that keep telling me he is the highest paid player in the NFL, HE IS NOT. We will be blessed with having him in SB winning form for another 3-4 years at most, lets make the best of it.

Oh great! DakForHe15man Is here to tell us how bad Brees is and how we should draft a QB this year...probably a dual threat QB...you know, because Brees is old and holding back CSP. But a true dual threat QB would allow Payton's true play calling genius to shine.

I wonder if Drew would give up some of his money for better pass protection ? I don't really have an issue with Drew other than he took all the money and put himself behind a shitty line.

I wonder if you would give up some of your paycheck so the company can hire another worker? How bloody stupid can you be?

And if you had a clue about this team and how it's built and funded, you would know that our dynamic duo of unbelievable shite Evans/Grubbs are two of the highest paid guards in the league. And along with Goodwin, those sacks of shite cost us this season.

quite a few, many of which were critical and dumb. Still that doesn't mean he needs to go at this point in time.

Do we need to plan for the future? Yes. If there is a QB worthy of a draft pick in any of the slots we draft, then we must seriously consider it.

Does this mean we must get rid of Drew? frick no. While his skillset is on the decline as any player at this point in his career would be, he is still a top 10 QB that has another year or two left in him. It's silly to think that anyone we may draft, whether it be next season or the following, will be any good. You don't get rid of the known greatness for the unknown potential. It is for this reason why I believe it's important to get a replacement sooner rather than later; if he winds up being a bust, then we have a second chance at another guy as long as Drew keeps playing at a high level.

Those down years with passer ratings of 100

And how many game losing picks were thrown in your number hyped statement? How many years are we gonna accept a 100 million dollar qb not getting us to the playoffs. Brady made the playoffs last year with possibly the worst skilled talent in the league. Brady upgraded to Brandon Lafell this year and possibly will win the #1 seed. Yes he has gronk but we have the highest paid TE in the league. Brees will always be a hero idiol and a savior for Saints football
but to say he's had good years the last few years is a complete joke.

I'd be down for trading Drew for as many draft picks as possible and rebuild the entire team.

His passes are not traveling at the same velocity as before. He needs max protection to be able to step up to get the ball there fast enough to keep from being intercepted. Drew needs to limit his throws per game to save his arm at the rate he's going I give him 2 more years max until Father Time forces him to retire.
