UPS and FedEx get government subsidies in the form of the interstate high way system, US federal highways, state highways and county and city roads. They also enjoy government services in air-traffic control. So the idea that UPS and FedEx are totally private and get no help from the taxpayers is false. They can also enjoy taxpayer funded courts to help settle disputes they have and tax-payer supported snow plows on roads. So once again they are also parasites.

FedEx and UPS planes also pay a fee to every airport they utilize for every plane that takes off and lands there.

For example, this is for Fed Ex at Bob Hope airport.

"The airport charges $1.56 per 1,000 pounds of landed weight on each flight, Gill said. In May, FedEx landed 40 planes, totaling roughly 12.3 million pounds of cargo – which works out to $19,248 in landing fees for the airport."

Yeah moron the drivers pay taxes when filling up and driving their own personal vehicle.

you might be lucky you started this thread on Christmas. Otherwise you would get ripped to shreds. The United States Postal Service is a POSTER child of ineptness that is the government.

*** love how post office supporters mention that the government makes it possible for private entities to do their work like government is God BUT when you mention that tje post office is billions in the hole for liabilities, they say BUT THE GOVERNMEMT MADE THEM PROMISE THE PENSIONS IN ADVANCE and blame the government. Ironic eh?
