I watched Moreau's highlights and all I've seen him do is catch passes. Which leaves me scratching my head, being we might have had 3-4 catches by TE's this year.

The coaches can get access to HUDL and see entire games, but he is a complete package at TE, with a frame that can continue to add good weight.

If we need a true TE in the class, he's a good take. I'm not sure it's necessary to grab a TE every year though. We get JUCO TEs and TEs out of high school very frequently. I know it's common or used to be common to recruit TEs because of their size and athleticism allows them to transition to Oline or Dline. However, as of late, our guys stay at TE. Desean Smith will be a JR and has done almost nothing. Jacory, did he play this year?

We also have jacket Washington who was one of the best receiving TE's in his class and desean smith who is also a receiving TE

Most likely

Martin
Johnson
Dillon and/or Fournette (if we have the room)
Jackson x2
Moreau (if we have the room)

Possibly

Phillips
Reid (The guy has offers from Stanford, Brown, and Yale, plus his last visit is to Stanford)
Mack (he's playing the game and will probably be that yearly high ranked 'LSU was my 2nd favorite' recruit. Hopefully not though)
Charlot
Weathersby
Taylor
McGinnis (if he ever gets a got damn offer)

Longshots

Lodge (really want to pair this guy with Johnson, but he's more of a longshot IMO)
Lewis (mamas ain't always the way to go with a recruit guys)
Peters

Getting Moreau means Shipley will move to OT IMO.

Shipley is listed as an OL already. Mouton is listed a fullback. Moreau is the TE in this class and he has a more complete overall game than smith and Washington so he'll see the field in a couple of years to block at least.

Been saying most of this for a while now. We finally have true TE in this class while Shipley will go to OT. Mouton was obviously a FB/H-back as well.

OK I've been playing around with the class calculator and being pretty conservative on my picks

JUCO CB Martin
DE Phillips
DE Jackson
CB Jackson
WR Johnson
APB Fournette

Those along with the commit of Moreau gives us 21 commits. That is 270.97. Of course recruits can rise and fall within the next 2-3 weeks, but right now that score would have placed us 7th, 9th, 8th, 9th, and 9th over the past 5 years respectively.

IMO we finish no worse than 10th.

Yeah, I've been going off what Shipley told Sonny and Shea a few weeks ago. He seemed pretty confident that he'd end up at TE. Now, it seems pretty obvious he'll make the move to OT.
