Is there a sadder song than Auld Lang Syne?

Nothing like listening to it and thinking of the following:

1. The fact that you're getting older
2. Relatives/friends who died during the course of the last year
3. The fact that you're lonely
4. The fact that you're miserable in your relationship
5. The fact that you went another year without finding a SO

What are some other ways this song could make you sad?

I don't know I always thought the end to It's A Wonderful Life was pretty uplifting.

Asleep or I Know It's Over - both by The Smiths

Ironically, at the end of Asleep, a music box is playing....Auld Lang Syne.
