Since AD joined the squad, the Pels win percentage has increased nearly in step with AD's own personal improvement.

Year 1: .329, w/ lots of injuries, very raw, inconsistent team
Year 2: .415, lots more injuries, clearly talented, never put it all together
Year 3: .519, (IP) and will probably be around .500 for the season

This year AD is looking the most complete in his short NBA tenure. The team has gotten better believe it or not in all of AD's three seasons, but it is a combination of better personnel AND Davis improving each year. Suffice it to say, although outside circumstances will probably determine whether the Pels get into the playoffs, I think there's no doubt the AD era Pels easily make the postseason next year. Obviously that trend will truncate at around a .700 win percentage, but the year to year improvement is noticeable and we should all take a bigger picture view when thinking about the AD era Pels.

There's not much to bitch about this season. We've been healthy, when the guys play well (which is now more times than not) they win, and imo we've seen AD, Rivers, Evans, Holiday, Anderson, and Babbitt look better and more sure of themselves than ever before. This Pels team is realizing its potential now more than ever in the AD era and its been good to watch.

The 30 for 30 about the Bad Boys (Detroit Pistons) was on last night. It was interesting to watch how they changed when Isaiah Thomas got there, then they got Lambeirt and so on and so on and it took them years to get past Boston, then another two years to get past the Lakers.

And if you read about Jordan and the Bulls, you see how it took him a few years to get to the playoffs, then how he had to get past the Pistons.

Fans are too shortsighted sometimes. Championships don't come overnight unless you are a guy like Duncan who joins up with Robinson or Wade who joins up with Shaq. It takes time to build a "team".

I will say though, that the one thing this team doesn't seem to have right now is an "identity". That is going to need to come at some point.
