I feel like I had never heard of him until I started sifting through my waiver wire in Week 3. His YouTube tape looked pretty impressive, and then I saw that he got drafted 12th = this guy could be pretty good. But then again almost every 1st round WR did extremely well this year.

Looking at WRs for next year already~ Raiders/ Saints/ Seahawks/ Redskins seem like teams to lookout for if they draft Amari/ Jaelen/ DaVante (physical/physical/technical respectively).

He was good but had a case of the drops. I thought Landry would be the better pro earlier

If I remember correctly this stopped his last year at LSU.

Landry, however, had vice grips.

Was Jarvis the #1?

also Eli > Tannehill so that gives Jarvis some leeway.

Interesting~ never would have guessed that watching this season. His pregame warmup catches are worth the admission

OBJ got a bad wrap from the relentless LSU fan base and put behind Jarvis in the rant's depth chart. The fact is they were, and are, insanely talented receivers. Beckham's athleticism gives him the edge and is the reason he played more at LSU and is more of an impact in his young career. I would agree with most in a aying Landry was a more consistent receiver once he became an integral part of the offense. Beckham would have smashed most LSU records had he returned for his Senior year.

Landry was not the #1 wr. He moved to the slot at times and was the possession guy. He got a lot of 3rd down looks and made some of the most outrageous catches you've ever seen.

Notice in the interviews after Beckham's catch that nobody that has ever played with him was surprised. They mention that he and Landry made grabs like that daily.

thanks for the info.

Maybe we can set up a "Pre-Draft Showcase" for next year's FFB season? I'll bring insights about ASU. LSU fans bring info about Tigers. Bama fans about Amari. Etc~

He had some drops the previous year before entering the draft. Here's an unbiased comparison for the OP.

Eh, still better than nothing. Video evidence for "amazing" catches is a requirement though or tons of other fans concurring.

He was misused and underutilized just like Landry, randle, tolliver and other great LSU WRs

No he wasn't. Landry and OBJ had great college careers, and had it just been one of them playing, they would have had xbox numbers in Mett's last year. Problem was they had to share the spotlight, on top of the fact that they had a beast of a RB to compete with too.
Nothing about the offense last year was under utilized.

Randle had shitty QB's and Tolliver wasn't good enough to even remember his first name.

I don't understand the laughing. He's near the top in almost every receiving category for LSU. He would have needed a season like his sophomore year to attain most of them. Based on what he's doing against NFL dbs, he would have made it easily.

Really neither were the number 1. They took turns having the big game their last years. OBJ contributed earlier on offense though while Landry was eased in more on special teams.
