It's probably one of Scorsese's best comedies.

How many speeches did he give?
Could have shaved an hour right there.
I enjoyed it enough to watch Django. Haven't watched it yet because I'm pretty damn sure I'll love it, and I want to wait until I'm totally out of shite to watch on nettie.

A lot of unnecessary improvisational dialogue. Marty just let them roll with it. I liked it. Really captured the early 90's end of the lude era.

Kind of agree. Maybe not terrible but I definitely didn't enjoy it very much.

It ranks right up there with some of the worst movies I've ever seen, ever. Ever ever.

I thought it was hilarious when I first saw it.

The story is crazy but the movie does drag a bit

I'm not sure how anyone could say it is a terrible movie. Anything that becomes popular on ANY of these boards on tiger droppings becomes "Over rated" or it "Sucks" this place will brain wash you any and every REAL human being I have talked to about this movie loved it.

I think it's a great movie to experience once, but it's not a movie to be re-watched and studied.

Although, Leo's speech when he refuses to give up his company is one of my favorite in movie history. LINK

It might seem to drag, but that's because they did a fairly good job of sticking to the story in the book, even though they left out a major character. I appreciated that, as opposed to Rum Diary where they completely butchered it.

Also, I'd let Margot Robbie put a cigarette out on me if she wanted to.

I love over the top movies. This one ranked up there with Scarface for me.

Saw it in theaters and thought it dragged. A couple was there with their 3 year old son. They didn't walk out until the last scene where he was banging her before the divorce. I thought it was funny they waited that long and that was the straw that broke the camels back.

It wasn't over the top cause it was all true.
That's what made it so good.

I figured the opening scene when he was snorting coke out of a stripper's arse would have been enough

It can be an enjoyable and funny movie for a younger crowd.

As far as actually being considered a good movie....not at all.
