Nah, he'll probably not even play past the 1st quarter. Only way I see anyone trying next week is to get some incentive in their contract. Other than that, I expect most of our "stars" to be sitting by the 3rd.

The precedent is that brees plays and plays well in meaningless week 17 games where were eliminated

If Brees plays next week I won't watch. I know what he is at QB. I think they need to give Griffin some game reps and see how he's looking. That I'll watch.
