I don't see how it can be argued they cost a TD. In that scenario we are the team running the clock out and not the Falcons.
Brees isn't having to make desparate passes to come back down 6 points.

The refs have cost us big time a few times this year. I've never seen worse officiating over the course of a season. But this team had their head up their arse all year and weren't going to do anything anyway.

The saints suck, but refs absolutely make a difference sometimes.

We had 3 minutes when we got the ball. We needed a TD at home against a terrible D with multiple hurt players. It wasn't that desperate. We scored a TD easily on the drive before that. Brees just had an issue with throwing risky passes this year late in games and it hurt us today.

Posting the truth will not go unpunished. Even if the Saints would have won today, I would have bet the house on a loss next week. I won't spend 3 hours watching that game now. I've watched other NFL teams get hosed by the refs this year, it has been pathetic.
