LSU-20
ND-3
I don't think their offense does much against our D...we've held down much more explosive/physical offenses than theirs...it will feel like the Iowa bowl last year...we are dominant but score doesn't reflect it...
Their boards are very concerned about both sides of the ball...offense QB play...defense injuries....very little confidence from their fan base...mostly they fear a blowout...

LSU will dominate an inferior opponent, and a lot of the LSU supporters will go back to loving Les.
No matter what happens, the heat should remain on him going into next season.
Tigahs 31 Notre Dame 14

This game reminds me of the 1984 LSU/Notre Dame game. Nobody gave the Irish much chance of winning. After all, LSU was undefeated and rated #6. ND had already lost 4 games (including the last 3). Plus, this game was being played in Tiger Stadium. LSU was going to kill Notre Dame. The Irish had no chance.
So, 30 years later its deja vu all over again and I predict the same score:
Notre Dame 30
LSU 22
1984 Notre Dame/LSU game

LSU-28
ND- 10
Its the Irish that seem disinterested to play this game and will pack up the vans by the end of the 3rd Quarter

I stick with my original prediction. With the Tigers lackluster offensive performances this season, I think LSU scores less than 30 points. I hope they prove me wrong.

LSU's offense has only scored 30 points or more in 4 games...Sam Houston State, UL-Monroe, Florida and Kentucky. Only one of those games was on the road. If the offensive scheme is unchanged I don't see the Tigers scoring 30+ points. The Tiger Defense has vastly improved and will hold ND's offense to 20 points or less. The Tiger D held Bama and Cooper to 20 points!
My prediction:
LSU 27
ND 13

LSU 23-21.. Our lack of a steady FG kicker and a few big plays from Gholson keep this close.
