Overboard pets lovers are worse than Cultfitters but they are pretty much one in the same.

Hope when anyone here's dog goes that you also take this attitude
You can't command how someone else grieves a loss. The death of a pet is still a loss.

No we didn't.

Dogs = mans greatest accomplishment.

Why aren't there more attitudes of "Damn my dog had a GREAT life, and he was lucky to have everything i gave him, and I was lucky to have him as long as I did."
That's how I was with my dog passing about 4 months ago. It stinks that she is no longer here, but she wasn't able to do the things she loved anymore and there isn't anything worse than watching a dog try to run, fall over completely out of breath, and not comprehend what is going on. Unfortunatly I wasn't home when the final decision was made, but my dad made the correct decision, and we had a couple of beers and told our favorite stories when I was able to get there.

I get attached to my pets. Cried like a baby when we lost our cat. Had her for 16 years. That is a long time. Plus for me it was hard losing her to Cancer. Just lost my mom a few years ago to Cancer.
