It took me 3 hours to get from LC to BR at 10 am. Traffic was already piled back to the basin bridge at noon, which is torture when you're suffering from food poisoning and are throwing up out the door of your car. Baton Rouge sucks.

Skipping work to avoid traffic. Classic Baton Rouge move.

We have a max amount of PTO we can bank, anything over is lost. With a new round of PTO coming up that would put me over the limit, use it or lose it. Classic BR move

Why would you pick this time to go from la place to the BR whole foods? That's shooting yourself in the foot just on a normal work day

We tried to go to the mall at 1:00 but it was ridiculous. We didn't even park. We decided to go to N. O. earlier than planned and went to the JC Penney on Terry Parkway. Much less crowded at that mall and on I-10. I don't know what was going on in B. R. Friday.

BR has laughably terrible traffic for a small city.

Our Atlanta people hate coming here because the traffic is worse here than it is in Atlanta. They love the food though. lol

I work in mandeville and we get truck drivers from out west making deliveries normally. They always beg me to give them a route where they can avoid baton Rouge bc they have never experienced anything like it. I'm just like yeah, that's nothing special, it's literally like that every day.

I wonder how much money baton Rouge has lost because of the epic fail that is their traffic. If prospective businesses show up at anytime between 6 and 6, they must automatically eliminate baton Rouge from their consideration

I was fine commuting from Hammond to BR for work, but then there were those days when the 30 minute drive turned into 2+ hours. I gave up the struggle and am paying $350 more in rent to live 3 miles from the job and no longer have to play the punch the steering wheel game.
