Host Arizona in the Wildcard Round (very likely at this point), then almost for sure lose @Seattle or @Green Bay in the Divisional Round?

OR

Host Seattle in the Wildcard Round, then if we can manage to win that game, play either Arizona or Detroit in the Divisional Round?

Basically, would you have an easier game in the first round, and then take our chances on the road? Or have a very hard game at home in the Wildcard round that we would likely lose?

Under scenario #2, there's a chance the Saints could host the NFC Championship Game if Green Bay came through and won their first two games as a wild card.

+1

It would be awesome (and more so hilarious) if we beat them in the Dome.

Then, on top of that, we'd have a great shot to beat either Arizona or Detroit on the road. At least those would be the only two teams we could possibly beat on the road.

I would hope we beat the hell out of them but I will never understand why my fellow saints fans are so bitter over a team that won its division and therefore deserved to host when we didn't even win ours.

Thems the breaks people.

What I'm bitter about is Lynch's run being called one of the GOAT when in fact the defense was trying NOT to tackle him so they could steal the ball

Arizona/Detroit at home, then play with house money @Seattle.

Just play straight YOLO-ball. Onside kicks on every kickoff, fake punts, the read option, direct snaps to Cadet, PT playing a little QB, just throw it all out there.

If detroit beats GB they will be the 2 seed

We beat zona (very winnable. They have many injuries)
GB beats 3 seed

We play at detroit (very winnable)
GB beats seattle

We play GB at home. We already blew them out

If we get hot, anything can happen

I know that we played the bears the other day, but im hoping that the defense made a turn arroumd with all of the new players coming off the bench

Seahawks at home, then @ Arizona. Zona's defense is good, but I think the Cards have a serious problem on offense right now.

:fapcity:

Still, have to beat the Falcons first this week.

We need to win one close in the final minutes to really get some confidence going I think.

the last time we won a close was in overtime to the freaking Buccaneers!

That would be ideal.

However, asking Green Bay to win back to back games at Dallas and Seattle is very unlikely.

Green Bay is a bit overrated. I don' think they'd even get past Dallas.

Seattle and Dallas are the two best teams in the NFC right now. Dallas is the most balanced.

Green Bay has struggled on the road but at home... they have a definite advantage.

even more than Seattle in my opinion.

Seattle is weak if you can somehow stop Lynch. Seattle has been teeing off on some weak QB's lately and that will continue this week.

i'm pulling for Arizona just because.

Please stop. We heard this all last week about the Bears and how we couldn't beat them on the road especially in cold weather. Then before that everyone said the same thing about the Steelers. It's cliche. Think for your self sometimes.
