They refused to deploy and fight Boko Haram. Now they are being killed by firing squad. Seems like the better option would've been to risk being killed by the militants than guarantee yourself killed by the government.

Well I won't be sending one more penny to their prince. He's gotten enough money out of me.

Things have gotten really bad over there. I mean, the former NFL great was captured by Boko Haram and is now known as Muslim Okoye

I don't really have a problem with this in the sense that they are in a war with Boko Haram, who just kidnapped and killed over a hundred more yesterday. Cowardice in the face of the enemy on the battlefield has always been something that would earn you the firing squad. I don't think that we do this anymore, but I understand it. If you are in the army and you are fighting an enemy and you refuse to engage, that is a pretty big deal.

I would not favor it and I wouldn't want to lay down the sentence, but I am just saying that there is a lot of historic precedent for that kind of thing.

Nigeria should just make Hakeem Olajuwon supreme emperor and I guarantee you all of their problems would dissipate. Nigeria would be a first world country by 2030.

In ancient Egypt they were thrown into a crocodile pit

our last one, and the only one since the civil war:
