Marco Reus fined €540,000 for driving without a licence

Dortmund’s prosecutor’s office said the fine was €540,000 (£440,000) relating to incidents from 2011 until this March.
“Today I know that I was too naive and that it was stupid. I have learned my lesson and this will not happen again,” Reus said.

That is an expensive lesson. Do you know if he was ineligible to get one based on his speeding tickets or was he just too lazy to go get one?

ps - If Im reading it correctly he received several tickets even after having no license ??? How is that possible?
