This is different. The Heat lost a lot of very close games at the start of that season as the jelled then they went on to only lose 1 game between Nov. 29th and January 9th.

Don't fool yourself....Spoelstra is an average coach at best and Pat should have coached the team from the start when LeBron joined.

Not hot at all...they play in the East, it's not like they are in danger of missing the playoffs at all. They need to get it together by about game 60.

the defense has been dreadful.

They don't have the players to be even a mediocre defense.

I'm kinda having flashbacks of the 2010 heat.

One of the more consistent things that 2010 Heat team did was play phenomenal defense.

You think? Bosh should be a lock for the hall of fame. I don't think he gets near enough credit for what he did for those heat teams.

Blatt isn't going anywhere.

I think they are gonna try and ship Waiters soon. He's their best bench option but the dudes way to selfish. They need a Tony Allen type guy who can just defend and hit a 3 every once in a while.

Their starting lineup now has Shawn Marion as the SG when he was supposed to be Lebrons backup.

and people have been underrating Bosh for years.

I remember being shite on a few months ago when I said if you switched out Bosh for Kevin Love, Love's numbers would be similar to Bosh's and what do you know they are.

Bosh was hated on a lot for his defense early, simply because of rebounding numbers, but he was a great perimeter defender for a big. Heat's defense was good because they could cover so much game with their length and athleticism. They couldn't deal with bangers down low well but still survived.

The issue with the cavs is their defense. What coach is going to fix that?

Blatt has improved his rotations from the start of the year, which was a problem initially. Blatt ain't going anywhere this year.

Woj was saying at the start of the season this may have been a setup to get Mark Jackson in place.
