This reminds me of that time someone leaked a video of Leach in the locker room that was supposed to make him look bad (because CUSS WORDS) but really only made him look like... a football coach.

Reading the whole transcript and Nebraska's snippy response makes me more sympathetic to Pelini.

I've seen Pelini at his kid's (younger than 10 at the time) baseball and basketball games. "Psycho" doesn't do him justice. It's offensive to the insane.

I agree.

No school is going to respond kindly to someone calling the AD a pussy and a count.

That said, I bet the players loved it.

Pelini speaks their language.

Slightly reminiscent of Mike Gundy's rant at OK State, except his was much better as it was aimed at adults.

@FootballScoop: Extremely relevant RT @darrenrovell: There is not a non-disparagement clause in Bo Pelini’s contract w/Nebraska that can affect his buyout

I assume that only applies to public comments, not a team meeting.

No it applies to any of his statements. He is good to go. 150k per month for 51 months or something to that effect.

No, no it doesn't.

What a total nutjob. The sad part is that all those players view him as being "real" for standing up to the authority. Pelini brainwashed his team and convinced them that everyone from the AD to the fans were against them. Riley is gonna have his hands full.

AD is an idiot for letting him to to them days after firing him. He's also an idiot for replace a 9-4 coach with a 7-5 coach.

And who he said it to. If he says this to his lawyer, pal, wife, brother, etc, no problem. Big conflict of interest undermining the authority of his superiors in front of his players.

Houston, you have a problem. If I was a Husker fan (I'm not) I would feel better and better about thie decision t move on every time this guy opens his mouth. He's an embarrassment.
