Describe a racist event that happened to you in your life.

I'll start.
Too many times to count, throughout my life, I have been shopping in department stores when random people have come up to me and asked if I worked there and could help them. Most often, it is women that confront me with their racist accusations.

I waited tables throughout college and I can count on one hand how many black people left a tip greater than 5%.
I'm pretty sure it's because I'm white.

When I worked at UPS one of the guys would say, "you ma white filtered-word-a." That's all I got. Not even sure it was racist, but rather used a racist word. All I know is he would fist-bump me after saying it.

One time when I was lynching this guy, he pulled my hood off in a flailing attempt to free himself. He looked me right in the eyes and called me cracker. frick that shite.

When I was younger, all of the kids at the neighborhood basketball court used to call me "WB"

I've been "mean mugged" before by black people when walking down a public street minding my own business. One shoved me in the back and yelled something about being in the wrong neighborhood and called me a "fricking cracker". I just kept my head down and kept walking.

I was driving through a checkpoint in south Texas and the border patrol agent just asked me if I was American and then let me go

I used to work for a moving company based out of New Orleans east. My buddy and I were grabbing lunch in my car, and we got pulled over by two black cops literally for nothing. They said they were just checking because my car was flashy (bright red Mustang GT with polished 18s), and they thought we might be dealing drugs. They ended up letting us go after they ran our IDs, probably because they realized my dad is from Africa.
