Help with this--Fitbit charge or flex watch either in slate, navy or black

The above is a text from my bride (seen below). I assume these are some sort of watch she wants to exercise in. Is one better than the other? Are they both good? Both crap? Where can I get one or the other? TIA guys, you're the best.

Not sure about the fitbit but I have the garmin vivofit and I love it. It displays steps, calories burned, miles and time. If I'm not mistaken with the fitbit flex you have to view the app to see your progress. The vivofit displays directly on the watch.

edit:Check amazon and read reviews if she is set on the fitbit
