I just can't take seriously some of this shite.

i mean, they are trying to sell me on ariana grande and taylor swift. sorry pitchfork, I don't visit your site to get told how I'm missing out on sugary over produced pop music from millionaires.

It's ironic to like that stuff

it's like so mainstream that they're sticking it to the mainstream to ironically approve of something mainstream

or some ridiculous hipster line of logic like that

Their rankings of 70s, 80s, and 90s tracks and albums is always a good source.

I use it to glance at sometimes and see what albums have come out recently

Most of the time I listen to a song or two of anything that got an 8+ review and it's fricking awful and I laugh at how terrible Pitchfork is

The 5+ star kanye west reviews are unmerited. Excluding the rap, half of the top 20 is prettty good.

Best thing on that website.

Pitchfork has fallen off from its mid-late 00s heyday.

^^^ agreed, but their new music charts have been shite as of lately. Am I the only one that thought the Aphex Twin album was super meh?

It certainly wasn't the worst thing I've listened to, but it's no Top 5

Still the most renown critics for hipster music

The pitchfork music festival looks good so i guess that is part of the fall off?
