Oh shite you're right. I really want to play Seattle, but they play Arizona this coming weekend and will probably win. I see us playing Arizona tbh unless they can beat Seahawks @Seattle with Ryan Lindley.

Ideal situation for us

Seeds:
1 Seattle
2 Detroit
3 Dallas
4 Us
5 Arizona
6 GB

cards @ NO
Packers @ cowboys

NO @ Detroit (very winnable+DOME)
Packers @ SEA

NFCCG

Pack @ NO...

Even if we lose, the melt from a 7-9 or 8-8 team hosting the NFCCG would be absolutely glorious...

I don't see the Cardinals winning that division.

The Seahawks will win it/get the bye.

We'll get the Cardinals or Cowboys or Packers/Lions here if we end up winning the NFC South.

That would be our luck. We finally get Seattle at home when we are shitty. But hey, I guess anything can happen.

If we get Seattle we are beyond fricked. I don't think that's gonna happen though because they will win that division and we will probably end up playing Arizona.

I think you have to hope for Seattle. Because the idea is to win the whole damn thing. If we get Seattle first we get them at home. Otherwise the Superbowl travels through Seattle and they are almost impossible to beat there.

Now if you just want 1 win, I can agree.

We have lost our last 3 against Seattle. Two close playoff games and a regular season blowout. Idk if this is the year we want to play them even at home with our bi polar team.

I'd actually feel pretty good about it. Good offenses have had success against them this year and their offense has regressed. Now behemoth 2012 Seattle has still shown up occasionally but they haven't locked down a top offense Since week 1

And they'd be playing on the road

Lynch seems to have our number and Wilson kills us with his zone read plays. So I'm not overly ecstatic about playing them with this team. This isn't the 2009 or 2011 saints teams. I thought we had a shot last year with the team we had.

I would rather this:

1st round - Arizona
2nd round - @ Detroit
3rd round - Green Bay

Lynch would probably run all over us, but I actually think it is a good matchup.

Their oline has struggled and their dline isn't generating pressure like last year.

Also, all their pressure is coming from the outside this season. They are 25th in sacks at 29. We've generated more pressure than they have this year

It would be a good matchup. Green bay will be mad at the loss we gave them in week 11 I think or 10. Whatever the week it was, that will be a very good game and hopefully the dome would be rocking.

Me too, but I'd rather have a shot at the NFCCG.

Green Bay getting the 6 seed gives us the easiest path.

they aren't last years seahawks...30 to the chargers, 20 to the broncos in really a 5 minute span, 30 to the cowboys, 24 to the raiders for Christ's sake, 24 to the chiefs, they've played 3 saints level offenses

GB - opening week, means nothing.
Chargers - pre pip rivers injury, gave up 30
eagles - a backup qb, buttfumble at home, they gave up 14

People thinking they're the indestructible team from last year are deluding themselves, they're a vulnerable team, especially on the road
