Cutler is a badass. rediculously durable. Id like to see bradys game after spending his entire career on his back like jay has

And frick the idiots who regurgitate the "don't feel sorry for millionaire" line. Its always disappointing to see a guy with that much talent and heart get crushed under the weight of a shitty franchise. nobody said do you sympathize with his miserable personal life

Pretty sure OP was talking about his football situation, not his life as a whole.

And to answer the question, not really. He doesn't seem to be some great teammate but any means. Chicago seems to be a bit of dumpster fire from an intangibles perspective as a whole and the QB is supposed to be the leader of the team. Jay is very Rob Johnson esque.

Their main issue this year has been injuries and shitty defense tho.

The guy sucks. His coaches and teammates dont seem to respect him.

Hes been pretty awful his entire time in chicago. The d is bad, but how many first downs did the offense get in the first half? The offense has been unbelievably awful in first halves all year long.

The oline is adequate. They have holes and depth issues, but jays tos are rarely the result of being prsssured.

I feel bad for him as a person- he's getting bashed for a lot of stuff that isnt entirely his fault, and his demeanor is the reason for a lot of it.

Then I realize he signed a $100M contract, and then I don't care. For that kind of $$$, he can deal with the media/fan abuse and go home smiling laughing whether the Bears win or lose. He's won.

Even if I were to look at his situation in vacuum (ignoring the $100 million K he just signed, etc), what exactly is there to feel bad about? His team sucks. Big deal. A lot of teams suck but you don't see these threads for those QBs.

They are paid extravagantly to play a game. They can handle the criticism.
