I'll give a shot to a two out of sixteen win conference coach any time.
Finebaum's an arse as usual. He loves Miles b/c LSU is the only program that can run with BAMA. As long as he's here he doesn't have to worry much about LSU ruling the roost.
Finebaum

You do realize fla and muschamp were in sec east ?

Please just stop, I guess Urban would be one and he was in the east. Tuberville would be another. If a team is not happy with a 78% winner in the SEC over 10 years, the new coach is in trouble before he starts. Yes many would take 15 million over 5 years on the contract to be set for life, but that doesn't mean winning at a high level for LSU. Any proven coach would ask for 20 million or more.

WHO wants to face the secw murderer's row?
No one. Les Miles will be our last football coach.
I suppose the SEC will have to replace LSU when we can no longer field a football team with a head coach. I wonder who they will get to replace us? But then again, no school would be dumb enough to face "the secw murderer's row".

OMG, we are doomed. It's inevitable!

Love how Miles fanboys quote someone who openly disrespects the program regularly, including Miles, and then those fanboys proceed to tear down the program and sell it short.
If Miles leaves, and he most likely won't, I hope those "fans" will leave with him.

Don't mean to be formal, but you're acting like a Richard.

thanks dude. now, name one!
Saban --- left Dolphins
Sumlin --- left Houston
Bret --- left Whisky
Freeze --- left Arky State
Malzahn --- left Arky State
Mullen ---- only one on list not a head coach when hired
All hired since Miles took over. All hired during SEC run of NCs.

I know. The op and Finebaum are so brilliant. At first, I thought LSU could maybe attract a good coach because LSU is one of the TOP murderers in the SECW murderer's row. But they are probably right.

so again who would LSU's target be?
Maybe a mildly unsuccessful coach from oklahoma state? Last time I checked Miles was no Belechick when we hired him. With our talent and outrageous assistant coaching budget I'd say that LSU will be fine with finding someone who would want to take over and could do a serviceable if not excellent job. 8-4 isn't hard to accomplish in Baton Rouge for a moderately good coach.

I don't think if Miles was to go to Michigan it would be because he was ran off by the fans and as for as replacing him hopefully it would be by someone who actually wants to compete against the best which is usually what the good ones want.

and, i'm sure one of your guys would kick the shite out of the secw for years to come and win sec and nc titles for decades!
I think you misinterpreted my response ... I told you who would want the job. As your response indicated, the candidate pool would be pretty shallow and pretty much a crap shoot.

We generally play them tough, but Auburn is no slouch man.
