Sounded like a Hunger Games spoof, and I thought you were trolling.

I googled.

Yes, please.

I'm pretty sure it is actually being wide released Dec. 25. This movie is going to bomb in the box office, even if it is incredible because the publicity has been just horrible. I almost wonder if they didn't have an American marketing strategy at all.

The November release date was just for LA, NY, and maybe Chicago. But I still can't prove any of this for sure. It's what I've read on reddit.

Movies like this are released to critics and premiere in larger markets early and are then spread to more theaters as awards buzz builds. I wouldn't expect to see it in many markets for a few weeks.

Relatively certain we aren't going to get it here because of subject matter. We don't get anything that challenges a socially conservative lifestyle where I'm at. Could be the same in vein in Louisiana.

I'm assuming you mean marketing and not the reviews, right? And if so, I'm just curious where you live. The movie is all over the place out here.

This has potential to be an awesome movie...I just hope they stick with his accomplishments/brilliance and the fact he's basically the reason behind modern day computing.

It's kinda funny but it's kinda not. My classmates and I were interviewed by the local paper and in it, we were quoted on saying the U.S. foreign policy needed to be improve and we had parents, board members, and random people called our principle and called for us to be expelled.
