Interesting read. So it would appear that we should allow ARs but have tighter control on handguns, and ban women with boyfriends to have knives. Problems solved.

Good god those numbers are mind blowing. There is a serious problem with young black males. This is literally where all the focus needs to be to fix a lot of the countries problems. There is a huge gap that is being missed in those high school years. Where are the parents and what about the schools (I don't put too much responsibility on them, has to be on the parents).

That's for the entirety of the time period
Victimization and offending rate is around 17 or 19 now. For whites it's down to 3
crime is down, for African Americans it's down by half over 30 years but there's still a lot of work to be done as there's no reason it should be almost 7 times higher

The 90s = my late teens and the majority of my 20s...I guess I should feel lucky to have survived.
