Comparing first starts as the #1 QB. Who was more productive? My guess is Tebow.

I think TT won his game too.

I would guess there are only a handful of people with worst first starts than manziel....so yeah way to go out on a limb with that pick.

Unless you're a Patriots, Packers or Cowboys fan, the rest of the NFL patronage is only about statistics.

Manziel is a poor man's Tebow (in both college & the pros)

But seriously, everyone needs to chill out on JFF. It was only 1 game.

Why would Manziel want to compare himself to Tebow? If he's just as good as Tebow then does that mean he'll be out of the league in 2 years like Tebow? If he does better than Tebow then he might not be out of the league in 2 years? Shoot for the stars brah.

You can compare media attention, but they're on pretty different levels when it comes to respect of their physical abilities. Manziel is considered physically capable with potential to be good while Tebow was always considered to be playing far above his ahead and limited in his abilities.

He was a rookie playing his first game. I'm not a huge Johnny Manziel fan. He consistently acts like a jackass, it's obvious he's trying to be his own brand when he has zero level of success, and he's an all around a-hole from what I understand.

That being said, Rome wasn't built in a day, and any sane football fan knew he was going to be a project.

Should we do a comparison between JFF and Eli Manning? Pretty sure Eli had a bad 1st start as well.

I love how everyone is saying JF sucks after ONE GAME.

Would these same folks be here saying how amazing he is if he had done well?

Methinks not.

Haters, chill.

Seriously. A rookie QB struggled in his first start. Crazy stuff.

He may turn out to be terrible and a bust. But it was only one game against a good defense.

Manziel shat all over Tebow in college. Not even a discussion as to who was the better player.
