Why does it always say "Sent 7m ago" when you message someone on PS4?

Without fail, whenever I send a message or receive one, it says sent 7m ago. What gives?

That always happens to me. "Invite received 12 mins ago" when I know I just got it. I have no idea why that and the messaging system are slow to load either.

I don't have that issue. It does take messages a minute or two to come in after I receive the notification sometimes though.

I get the sent 7m ago error, but I still get the messages. Not sure what causes it.
