On paper to start the season they did. None of it materialized out there though.

Well they lost Roos for the year which didn't help. He's their only olineman in green

They need a new Center, which they can get in a later round.

Looks like he started to play well later in the year

Terrible year, but has had a decent career

They need a RB and a quarterback, a good RB/quarterback can make an average OLine look great

I'd argue the opposite is far, far more common. Running backs are replaceable and a good oline turns average running backs into top 10 backs.

And Mett wasn't the cause of their oline woes, which is probably why there was some improvement there.

Mett
Time to Throw - 2.63 (time til pass attempt or sacked)
Time to Attempt - 2.57

--He's 33rd in Time to Sack, pathetic oline

Drew Brees (one of his quickest years)
Time to Throw - 2.62
Time to Attempt - 2.55

Matt Ryan
Time to Throw - 2.63
Time to Attempt - 2.54

Andrew Luck
Time to Throw - 2.84
Time to Attempt - 2.69

Aaron Rodgers
Time to Throw - 2.84
Time to Attempt - 2.61

Tony Romo
Time to Throw - 2.84
Time to Attempt - 2.78

Rivers
Time to Throw - 2.71
Time to Attempt - 2.58

OLine is awful, but Mett needs a #1 target. Draft Cooper. Then put OL and DB pieces together.

Need pass rushers. Too many injuries and stupid penalties.

There's just not a QB available worth a top 3 pick, I think we should draft Cooper and just roll with Mett until he either develops or we get the chance to get a franchise QB

Cooper has awesome stats, but is he really a deep threat or is that more indication of play calling and talent around him. I thought he was more of a possession WR who excelled at screen plays. I don't see that translating to superstar level in the NFL. I think he is a solid 1st rounder, but I don't know about top 1-3 pick.

I think it would be better to trade back and pick up Cooper or Gordon if that is possible.

No reason to give up on Mett as he looked good.

Does anyone think Mariota is going to work wonders for a franchise? I'd take Winston over him.

OTs are all injured. They started a guy today picked up tuesday. I think the announcers said they were on their 6th and 7th OT today. Injuries are incredible this year across the board, but they weren't very good when healthy. I would say trade down and get multiple picks.

He has started his career slowly, but is starting to finally get it over the last few games (despite how bad the OL has looked as a whole). He is fine for next year. But Levitre needs to be replaced. Jury is still out on Schwenke at C, but he's still young, too.
