Orlando Sentinel may have spoke too soon.

I have been informed that these oodles of reports all ready to stick Brek Shea in a purple Orlando shirt are wildly premature, at absolute best. That is not to insist the still-Stoke winger cannot end up there eventually, but it is certainly not a near-done deal. And the last I heard, he had a couple of Championship sides interested in buying. So... let's make a fat U-turn to decaf on this one.
And lookin' at my Gucci it's about that time (a ka the January window), so I will have much more fun things to spill about a long list of subjects very soon...

Yeah, Taylor Twellman saying it isnt a done deal also. Lots of interest from Championship clubs.

MH: We envisage Brek completing his move to Orlando. It hasn't been confirmed yet, but he was in the building yesterday trying to tie it up.
(MH is Mark Hughes.)

Oddly enough I think he's too tall/long to be a left back. That requires some serious agility to maintain stride for stride with today's wingers. If he were to play in defense it would be at center back, where he impressed Atletico scouts a couple years back and played like two games for FC Dallas, one of which ended in a red card pretty early IIRC.
I didnt think he was any good as a defender in those few games in Dallas. He often tried to do too much with the ball which led to turnovers and opportunities for the opponent to score.
