Office Furniture Board: Anyone Have Experience (Dis)Assembling One of These?

It's a Christopher Lowell (very funny, you guys) office desk that I moved into the room almost 10 years ago. It's too wide in its current state to move through the door, and I can't remember how the assembly people got it through. If I can get the desktop off, it should fit. But the screws on the inside don't seem to be releasing/lifting the top.
