I think he might be worried about how hard we're (lsu staff) are pushing for other O lineman.

If he signed the FA papers and is no longer an early enrollee then that is bad. No other reason to sign FA papers at this time.
Even if not an EE doesn't that still loosen up the CONTACT (not visitation) rules for LSU?

No, once he decides to stay in school and "graduate with his friends" like he says he wants to, that negates all extra contact we were allowed. We're basically stuck waiting until after the dead period now

Because this kid is super underrated and we dont want to lose him. Also watch if he were to commit to bama how he will suddenly get that 4th star

OL is a position of need. There could be some attrition this year with underclassmen but even if they come back, we will need some more in this class.

If he goes, he goes. There has been nothing but speculation and drama surrounding this kid since he committed.

We are hard after some other o line prospects right now and this class is shaping up to be very good.

with the way he out of the blue committed to us, it wouldn't shock me to see the reverse

We will land someone else if he goes elsewhere. Matt is solid but raw. If he is no longer an EE because he wants to graduate with his friends then that is a really dumb decision. Someone who needs to put on weight and put in a lot of work can spend their time working out with Moffitt and the team or drinking beer and tipping cows for the next 6 months

It's a piss poor excuse.

Schedule classes in the spring to be off on Friday, drive home Thursday night and do dumb shite with your friends, drive back Sunday and be a legit contender to play next year.

Red ... Now that Tillery is out and sweet is signed elsewhere

What other prospects are we on board for ?

I do think it raises concerns about a guy's commitment to excellence if he has all his classes and grades oriented to graduate early and backs out because of friends

His whole life will consist of football, his brothers on the team and school in 6 months. I get the fear but hard work and development can lead to a very lucrative career
