He said in an interview somewhere that he plans to fully retire in the next 2-3 years.

No chance that happens.

He'll likely gin up some "Athletic Director Emeritus" position for himself so that he can continue to bank an enormous paycheck. I've been perusing the Badger boards since the news broke that he was going to coach the bowl game, and apparently he has requested shady "additional compensation" several times in his tenure as AD.
