Classic struggle going on right now: Obama vs Pelosi & House Black Caucus

Going to be some bitter hard feelings leftover from today no matter how this plays out. Obama isolating himself from his own people in Congress is coming home to roost. Not a good omen for him for the next two years even if he emerges victorious tonight or tomorrow.

Is this mostly about the cromibus?

With regard to this thread title, 100% yes. Fierce Administration pressure being put on them to approve it as I type this.

So will Warren get blamed for the shut down if it doesn't pass?
I turned on C-Span and I heard a Dem rep opining for the removal of bank derivative language. This is coming from Warren, right?

Kinda hard to choose a side
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think both the Left and the Right are against passing this, only for different reasons.
The more Establishment-type bureaucrats, like Obama, Reid, and Boehner, are for it. Strange bedfellows to an extent. Then again, maybe not.

I'm hoping Warren crashes this pos bill.
Maybe she and Gohmert can get together on this.

What I find kind of funny is Obama and Boehner both want a year long cromibus. Both don't want to have to deal with the new congress anytime soon. They need a little time to brain w...I mean break them in.

So, conservatives should be rooting for this thing to cranh and burn, right?
Damn. I'm in bed with the Black Caucus, and Mia Love isn't even there yet.

I believe the best case is to pass a short term cr. About a month long. Talk about a headache for Boehner, McConnell and Obama.

She will not even be invited to the CBC and she will be barred entry, even if she asks, period.

1 month won't do it - they'll just be convening in a month - the best case for those against the Omnibus would be a 2 or 3 month - until February/March timeframe to get one passed through September 30 - THEN immediately go to work for FY 16.

Allen West was a Member of the Black Caucus.

She stated she plans to.

"Yes, yes. I would join the Congressional Black Caucus and try to take that thing apart from the inside out," she said.

Being a member and being told when and where the caucuses are taking place are two different things.

Just hear on Fox...MoveOn.org has thrown support for Dem Pres nomination to Warren. She's feeling her oats. Good...we need everybody on the record for '16.

Well, maybe I'll stand corrected on that.
I didn't think they let Allen West join.
