yeah, basically, but sheep gonna sheep.

I was trying to spread the word yesterday on the outrageously priced $750 iphone with specs comparable to my $350 nexus i bought two years ago (can not stop lol at this)

Despite looking incredibly well-machined, the new iPhones have suffered from some bad publicity over their aluminum internal framework, which has caused some rather public iPhone 6 bend tests and widespread assumptions that will all fold clean in half in your pocket. While it is a legitimate concern, it is unlikely the numbers of bent iPhones are ever going to impact more than an unlucky few. Having said that, I’ve never heard of a bent Nexus 5 at all. The main difference here is between the best feeling plastic around and the slipperiest metal around.

This pretty much sums it all up. A non existent problem is a problem and plastic feels better than metal.

I have a N5 and a 6+, it's no big surprise a single generation gap is not that big. Was the same between my N4 and N5. When you get to two generations, it definitely gets a lot more noticeable. I mean look at the Samsung Galaxy phones and the same complaints as it not getting huge upgrade.

Nexus phones are no longer cheap. That's why I still have a 5 instead of a 6.

On both sides

Hardly. If the iPhone was better/cheaper I'd happily buy it.

This isn't a practice in loyalty - its logic and common sense.

If it was a practice in logic and common sense, you would most likely end up with a dumbphone. It's a luxury item that you buy for your own wants...

Again the Nexus is no longer cheap, the brand new phones are similar in price now. If you want to buy the newest, you will be spending money.

Well its obvious it is. Exception- the sheep will protect and honor the forbidden fruit no matter how damning the evidence.

I need to upgrade the wife's nexus 4. But the reason is because the camera is crap on the 4. The 5 isn't much better.

As an owner of a 6+ and a N5, no, no it isn't..... Even your article admits it.

Yes, it's still not better or even comparable. I use these phones daily.

What features? Would those same features be available on dumbphones or something a lot cheaper, possibly even free like much older smartphones?
