Is there a real chance he sits this week?

Jamaal Charles (ankle, knee) did not practice Wednesday.

Coach Andy Reid said earlier in the week that Charles is dealing with knee and ankle soreness, but didn't express much concern over Charles' Week 15 availability against the Raiders. We'll need to keep a close eye on Charles the remainder of the week. If he can't play, Knile Davis will be the workhorse. Dec 10 - 12:52 PM

Charles is tough and is known to play through pain before. I too am hopeful he is able to go.

Are they in contention for a playoff spot? I havent followed them much this year. I think this will determine whether or not he sits or not. If the dude is a good shot away from reconstructive knee surgery that might sideline him into next season, I dont think they risk it... but I am only a fantasy GM... what do i know

ETA: Example - Latimore (SF-RB)
