In the case of needing a head coaching hire

does anyone believe that Alleva is up to that task?
Do you think he will land a big name?
Do you think he and LSU are prepared to go 5 million plus to get their top candidate?
Bama started the arms race for procuring a hired gun.....will LSU up the ante?
I say no. Alleva is a bean counter who concerns himself with revenue only. Championships are viewed as a byproduct at most IMO.

If this does happen, Alleva should not be the only one making that decision. As AD, he should attend meetings and be part of the process.
Though he is a former college football player, his track record at hiring head coaches at LSU has not been good enough to allow him to be the only one, or even the main one, deciding this.

1. We won't need a coach anytime soon
2. Alleva would probably puss out and just promote a coordinator. Or he could surprise us, who knows. But I doubt he'd go for a "big name." Take basketball, for example. I love having Coach Jones here, but he is by no means a "big name"

WOW!! A bash Alleva thread. Ground breaking, original and apropos.
Let me see if I have this right; you are bitching about something that may never happen? Is that right?

Is Alleva going to be the next coach?

well, i guess all the tards that wanted to get rid of miles will have to put up w/ alleva chosing the next coach.
why does this stink sooo much?
the tards hate alleva but wanted to trust him w/ a new hire!
this is how haters work. they hate sooo much they end up fricking themselves.
haters gotta hate!
