Do they work or is it quackery?
I lean toward quackery but one of my ears has felt clogged for like a week now to the point of making me feel dizzy at times and it's annoying as crap so I'm getting to the point of be willing to try anything.

Get somebody to pour hydrogen peroxide in the ear that's clogged, lay on your side so it doesn't pour out and leave in there for 3-5 minutes...drain it and clear it out with qtips

My ex used to practice this sorcery on me for free...there is definitely some stuff that gets left behind. I just don't know if that crap comes out of my ear or if it's something on the inside of the candle that is designed to make me think it's working. I will say though, you can go stick a Qtip in your ear when you're done and that thing will come out squeaky clean and I always felt like I could hear a little better when she was done, so I lean towards saying yes, it works. Maybe I'm just gullible.

I used to sell them as a boutique in college. They don't work. It's just a "therapy" thing. You're better off going to the doctor and getting debrox to break it up and get it out.

my ears get clogged every now and then but its behind my ear drum in my sinus area so theres really nothing I can do about it until it goes away
every time it shows up, it seems to hang around for about a month
I can hold my nose and pop my ears but it seems like the fluid goes right back to where it was within minutes
