I really don't think finals are a good way of evaluating your knowledge for a certain material. When we had midterms and we had 2 in the same week, a professor would move one to the following week so we could prepare better for it (most people were taking the same classes). But for finals, they cram all of your exams into one week?!? My analogy is that it becomes a triage unit. You see which grades are salvageable, which ones can take a hit and which ones you need to buckle down for. There's very little learning involved.There has to be a better way to assess performance than through a week full of exams. At least some stagger. Something. Projects. Just my 2 cents.
