Speedy and Willis appear to be head cases so it worked out. I'm still butthurt about Kenny Young though.

Hell no. I think a guy like Seal Jones works better in our offense, and I'd take Dupre and Dural over Speedy.
Nothing against Speedy, but he's just a slot receiver at the moment. I'm not taking a slot receiver over a guy like Dupre, with his immense potential.

Speedy doesn't run many routes himself.

He can at least run a slant and actually catch the ball. Im sorry but this bash speedy thing because he didn't come to lsu is stupid. You dont have to like him but dont trash him cuz his play of the year came against our best corner whos damn good in his own right

So where have I bashed him? I said he is alright, but to say he's better than Dupre because he can catch a slant is hilarious. I said this month's before he committed, that I wouldn't care either way if he came here, and would prefer Dupre over him if I had to choose. I still feel that way.

I doubt Speedy cares that anyone is bashing him on here, especially a 24-year-old guy whose glory days on the football field are behind him. He made one great play all year long that just so happened to come against LSU.

Im sorry if I singled you out. was more of a generalization. You can prefer Dupre that's your opinion. And to the poster below Dat; just because you only watch one A&M game doesn't mean he made only one play all year

Take off the glasses. Anyone who believes this is fooling themselves into thinking they know anything about football. Speedy was the most consistent playmaker in that offense all year and had multiple appearances on SC Top 10. He is an exceptional talent, and that play against White showed he could line up anywhere on the field and make plays.
