Why is todays country music and Radio stations so bad?

This old man that I work with literally runs to the radio in the mornings to turn it to this awful shite, and then he will talk shite about how bad the music is. Why the frick even listen to this garbage? And not just listen to it, fricking blare it so the world can hear the awfulness as well.

There is good country music being made today, you just are more likely to hear party or bro country on the radio.

Country sucks now for several reasons:
1. Infusion of LA pop music producers in Nashville studios
2. More women doing country music instead of pop due to country's less demanding vocal range
3. The guys that 10 years ago were in bands like Nickelback, Staind, Hinder, ect are now doing country because Rock N Roll is dead.
4. Country has gone "mainstream", which means it is now, like all other genres, about appearances instead of authenticity, emotion, and story-telling (as it had always been before).
