So how much stock do people put in all the reports that side by side, Franks was the better QB at LSU's camp? I would love to get both, but Franks apparently is no slouch himself. I feel like some are over playing the huge need to get Shea just because Franks is committed and Shea is still out there. It's all about what you don't have. I would love to have both, but if we get either we'll be ok. The only reason i would worry about losing Shea, assuming Franks gets to LSU, is the possibility other top LA players follow h

Well, at the Rivals Camp in FL, Patterson walked away with the QB Award, while Franks finished 9th or something. Not trying to disparage Franks, just pointing out that they could compete 10 times with each out doing the other 5 times.
What I see and like about Shea is his savvy and leadership is outstanding. It jumps out at you either on film or in person. Of course I've seen a whole lot more of Shea than Franks, so, who knows?

I've been saying that since the LSU camp....people try to compare them from one camp and you just can't do it. Plus anyone who has seen Shea play knows he is at his best when he is in the game and the pressure is on. Most QBs struggle and freak out under pressure....Patterson seems to be at his best in those situations.

Shea's throwing motion is much better imo. Franks' has a lot of baseball in it.

I won't talk shite about a kid committed to LSU, but Franks is being rated so highly mostly on potential. Cam has said in the past he likes his QBs raw so he doesn't have to fix a lot of bad habits. That said, Shea is game ready right now. His footwork and pocket presence are unbelievable for a high school junior.

After watching him play.....he is a MUST get for LSU.

He's leaps and bounds better than what we have right now.

Sounds like a great problem to have if you wind up signing both Franks and Patterson.

I feel like LSU should land at least one of these two QB's.

But NSD 2016 is a long ways away, so let's see where we are a year from today.
